7 hours away from baguio is Sagada, Mountain Province. This is the place where I went to one crazy day. I suddenly felt like leaving my place one night and decided to go off the next day.
I just saw this place in a magazine years ago and I told myself I am going to that place one day, and like I said, one crazy night, I decided to go and the following day went off all the way to the said tourist spot. The date was December 26, 2009 when I left my home town, apalit, pampanga. After 6 hours of travel by land, I reached Baguio City, The Summer Capital of the Philippines.
The following ride was a rough and rocky 7 hour offroad bus ride all the way to the mountainous province of Sagada, (serves it’s name right!) and that is one of the fun you wouldn’t want to miss…
After that 7 hour bus ride, I finally reached sagada and went to the municipal hall for information and the receptionist informed me about the nearest logdes. I checked-in at Ganduyan Inn, which means the former name of the town according to the attendant at the inn.
